Heavy Rains: Telangana Issues Key Instructions to Collectors

Amid heavy rainfall across the state, the Telangana government has issued crucial instructions to district collectors. Leaves of officials and staff belonging to emergency departments have been cancelled with immediate effect. Authorities have been directed not to leave district headquarters until further notice. The government also instructed the establishment of emergency response centres in every district to ensure public assistance.

Officials have been asked to continuously monitor rainfall and flood conditions. The government emphasized coordination among all departments, particularly with TGIIC and HYDRA agencies, to manage the situation effectively.
