

The Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority has issued a heavy rain alert for 12 districts across the state. According to officials, six districts have been placed under a ‘Red Alert’ for the next three hours, while another six districts are under an ‘Orange Alert’ due to the possibility of intense rainfall and strong winds.
Disaster Management Authority Managing Director Prakhar Jain warned that gusty winds with speeds of 50 to 60 kmph are likely to occur in several areas. He advised people to remain cautious and avoid standing under trees, near electric poles, or in vulnerable locations during the adverse weather conditions. Authorities are closely monitoring the situation and urged the public to follow official safety guidelines.
