HC Warns HYDRAA Chief Over Bahadurpura Fencing Issue

The Telangana High Court expressed serious displeasure over HYDRAA Commissioner Ranganath for fencing around 650 acres of land in Bahadurpura. The court questioned how fencing could be carried out despite existing court orders and directed Ranganath to appear before it on the same day, warning that action would be taken if he failed to comply. Following the court’s warning, HYDRAA Commissioner Ranganath appeared before the court.

In the same case, the court gave a setback to the Revanth Reddy government by directing authorities not to take any further action regarding the land. Farmers had approached the court claiming ownership over 28 acres in survey numbers 3 and 4 of Bahadurpura, stating that they had been cultivating the land for the past 30 years. After hearing arguments from the petitioners’ lawyers, the High Court agreed with their submissions and ordered the government to maintain the status quo.
