Government Stands with Boat Mishap Victims: CM

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu expressed deep sorrow over the boat accident that occurred in the Krishna River in Palnadu district. While on an official visit to Singapore, the Chief Minister spoke with the Palnadu District Collector and senior officials to assess the situation and monitor rescue and relief operations.

The Chief Minister announced an ex-gratia payment of ₹5 lakh each to the families of those who lost their lives in the tragedy. He directed district authorities to ensure that the compensation is disbursed immediately and instructed officials to provide all possible assistance to the affected families. The state government assured continuous support and closely monitored the ongoing response efforts.
