Giddalur Faces Water Crisis.. Tanker Supply Begins Across Affected Areas!

Giddalur Municipality has been experiencing a severe shortage of drinking and domestic water over the past month. Dry weather conditions in the region have reportedly affected groundwater levels, while streams and other local water sources have also dried up. As a result, residents in several parts of the town have been facing difficulties in accessing water.

Over the past week, Giddalur MLA Ashok Reddy has personally visited and monitored areas affected by the shortage. Arrangements were initially made to supply water through tankers once every three days to groups of households. A broader plan has now been implemented by deploying 50 tankers, with each tanker making multiple trips every day. The tanker-based drinking water supply was launched to support residents in areas facing shortages. The MLA also appealed to people to conserve water and use it responsibly while the dry conditions continue.
