Fresh Twist in KCR Farmhouse Land Survey

The land survey around former Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao’s Erravalli farmhouse continued for the third day in Siddipet district’s Markook mandal. Revenue and Survey & Land Records officials are examining the boundaries and records of 388 acres under Survey No. 325, spread across Erravalli, Venkatapur and Varadarajpur villages. Officials have also been using digital survey methods to establish the boundaries.

Meanwhile, residents of Venkatapur have reportedly claimed that a portion of the land under Survey No. 325 belongs to their village and have sought verification based on older revenue records such as Khasra and Sethwar. Officials have said that the field-level findings will be compared with historical land records before deciding on the next course of action. The ownership and exact boundaries of the disputed parcels will become clear only after the official survey and verification process is completed.
