WPL 2027 Here is the full schedule

The stage is set for the fifth season of the Women's Premier League (WPL). The organizers have announced the schedule of this tournament, which cricket fans are eagerly waiting for. This mega event will be held from January 14 to February 7. The first match to be held in Vadodara will see defending champions Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and two-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI) clash.

The BCA Stadium in Vadodara and the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai will host all 22 matches of this season. Both these venues have good experience in hosting the WPL. Previously, the Brabourne Stadium hosted matches in the 2023 and 2025 seasons, while the matches were held at the Vadodara Stadium in the 2025 and 2026 seasons. Last year, the final match in which RCB emerged as champions was held in Vadodara itself. Interestingly, the same two venues will also host the inaugural ICC Women's Champions Trophy, which will be held from February 14 to 28, a week after the WPL final.

The first 11 matches of the tournament will be played in Vadodara from January 14 to 24. After a break on January 25, the remaining 9 league matches and playoffs will be played at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. The league matches will be played in Mumbai from January 26 to February 3. Each team will play the other four teams twice.

The team that tops the points table will directly qualify for the final. An eliminator match will be played on February 5 between the teams that finish second and third. The winner of this will face the top-ranked team in the final on February 7. All matches in this season, including the playoffs, will start at 7:30 PM. There are no matches in the afternoon.
