Food Safety Department officials conducted inspections at restaurants and hotels across Hyderabad as part of their ongoing drive to ensure food quality and hygiene standards. During inspections at a pizza outlet located in Jubilee Enclave, officials reportedly identified several food safety violations, raising concerns over the maintenance of hygiene and storage practices.
Authorities found a large number of cockroaches inside the restaurant premises. Expired spices, flavored syrups, and bread products were also detected during the inspection. In addition, food items were allegedly stored without proper labels, while insects were found inside freezer units. Officials have initiated necessary action and directed the management to address the violations immediately.
