Delhi Gears Up for BRICS Summit

Delhi is fully prepared to host the BRICS Summit. The 18th BRICS Summit is scheduled to be held in the national capital on the 12th and 13th of this month. The summit will be held under the theme ‘Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability’. With several prominent leaders expected to attend, extensive security arrangements have been put in place across Delhi.

Special traffic management measures have also been planned in view of the summit. Traffic diversions will be implemented on more than 35 major roads and at 22 locations across the city. Traffic restrictions will remain in place for three days from tomorrow. Authorities have advised commuters to use alternative routes and follow traffic police guidelines during the summit.
