The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Tuesday announced the results of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) 2026, conducted for admissions to undergraduate programmes in Central Universities and other higher educational institutions across India. Along with the results, the NTA released the list of the top 10 candidates who secured the highest scores across five subjects. The agency noted that female candidates outperformed their male counterparts in the examination.

According to the NTA, one candidate achieved a perfect 100 percentile in four out of five subjects. A total of 22 candidates secured 100 percentile in three subjects, 180 candidates achieved the feat in two subjects, while 3,214 candidates obtained 100 percentile in one subject. The examination was conducted between May 11 and May 31, along with additional sessions on June 6 and 7. Around 11.6 lakh candidates appeared for the test.
