COVID Surge in Andhra Pradesh

The number of COVID-19 cases in Andhra Pradesh has increased to 61. Two fresh cases were reported on Saturday, one each from Visakhapatnam and Vizianagaram districts. The virus has spread across 15 districts in the state so far. Visakhapatnam recorded the highest number of cases with 9, followed by East Godavari with 5 and Guntur with 4 cases.

Out of the total 61 cases, 29 patients have recovered, while four people have died due to the infection. The remaining patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals. Authorities are closely monitoring the situation across the state.
