Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu expressed serious displeasure at the collectors’ meeting over the absence of some officials and the indifferent attitude of others. He said officials must attend important government meetings with full commitment and pay close attention to the discussions. Chandrababu remarked that some officials were listening to his instructions with one ear and letting them go out through the other.
The Chief Minister also expressed anger over officials using mobile phones despite being instructed not to do so during the meeting. He questioned whether officials were treating the meeting casually and stressed the need for everyone to remain attentive throughout the session. Chandrababu asked why officials could not sit through the meeting even for 12 hours and urged them to show greater seriousness and commitment in implementing the government’s decisions.
