CID Registers Case Against Former Minister Ambati Rambabu Over AI Video Post

The Andhra Pradesh CID has registered a case against former minister Ambati Rambabu over an AI-generated video shared on social media. The video allegedly portrayed Union Minister Pemmasani Chandrasekhar in a defamatory manner by showing him in handcuffs, leading to political controversy.

The case was registered at the CID office in Mangalagiri following a complaint filed by TDP leaders. According to the complaint, the AI-generated content was misleading and intended to damage the reputation of the Union Minister. The CID has initiated an investigation to examine the allegations and the circulation of the video.
