CBI Files Massive NEET Chargesheet

A major development has emerged in the NEET UG 2026 paper leak case, with the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) informing the Rouse Avenue Court in New Delhi that its chargesheet runs to nearly 20,000 pages. The court took the chargesheet on record and granted the investigating agency additional time to submit the annexures. The chargesheet reportedly includes lists of documents, witness statements, and material evidence collected during the investigation.

During the hearing, the court sought clarification regarding the supporting documents and statements referred to in the chargesheet. The CBI informed the court that the annexures, comprising around 20,000 pages, are currently being scanned and requested additional time to file them. Accepting the request, the court granted the extension and scheduled the next hearing in the matter for August 3.
