CBI Enters Disha Salian Case as Fresh Questions Emerge

The CBI has reportedly entered the investigation into the death of Disha Salian, the former manager of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, with an FIR registered in the case. The FIR reportedly names Aaditya Thackeray, actor Dino Morea, Rhea Chakraborty and former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh. The development has once again brought the circumstances surrounding Disha’s death into focus.

Disha Salian died in Mumbai on June 8, 2020, and her death was initially treated as a suicide by the Mumbai Police. Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide a week later, intensifying public interest in the case. Disha’s father has alleged that she was gang-raped and murdered. However, these remain allegations and have not been established as facts. Following renewed questions surrounding her death, the CBI has reportedly taken up the matter for further investigation.
