Bonalu Festivities in Hyderabad.. Holiday Buzz for Schools!

Students of schools and educational institutions across Hyderabad and Telangana may get a three-day holiday break in August. August 8 is the second Saturday and August 9 is Sunday, which are regular holidays. August 10 is expected to be a holiday on the occasion of Bonalu festival. However, official confirmation from the Education Department regarding the holiday for educational institutions is awaited.

The grand Bonalu celebrations in Hyderabad will conclude on August 10, featuring major attractions such as Rangam, Pothuraju performances, and Ghatam processions. With a three-day long weekend ahead, many families are planning trips to their hometowns and tourist destinations. Telangana educational institutions may have up to 11 holidays in August, including Sundays, optional holidays, and festival holidays.
