BJP’s ‘Chintan Baithak’ to Be Held Today and Tomorrow

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is chairing a two-day ‘Chintan Baithak’ of Union ministers on September 23 and 24 at Seva Teerth in New Delhi. The meeting is focused on governance, policymaking and reforms, with ministers expected to present details of policies and reform measures undertaken by their respective ministries. Progress of government schemes and their implementation will also be reviewed.

The discussions are expected to cover time-bound implementation of programmes, inter-ministerial coordination, public service delivery, time management and the roadmap for future reforms. The government had earlier formed six groups of eight ministers each to deliberate on governance-related issues and the timely implementation of programmes. Ministers are also expected to assess the work of their respective ministries as part of the two-day exercise.
