BJP Announces Key Organisational Appointments Across States

The Bharatiya Janata Party has announced new state in-charges and co-in-charges as part of its organisational reshuffle. Vinod Tawde will continue as the party’s Uttar Pradesh in-charge, with Jagdish Patel, Medha Kulkarni, Pradeep Verma and Anant Ojha appointed as co-in-charges. Ram Madhav has been assigned Uttarakhand and Tamil Nadu, while Sunil Bansal has been given charge of West Bengal and Telangana.

Harish Dwivedi has been appointed in-charge of Karnataka and Bihar, while Smriti Irani will oversee Chhattisgarh and Haryana. Vinay Sahasrabuddhe has been given responsibility for Delhi BJP, Tarun Chugh for Gujarat and Shrikant Sharma for Himachal Pradesh. The appointments are part of the BJP’s wider organisational restructuring.
