

N. Chandrababu Naidu chaired the Andhra Pradesh Cabinet meeting held today, where several important decisions received approval. The Cabinet cleared development works worth ₹2,540 crore for Amaravati, including Krishna river flood protection works and glass cladding works for the Secretariat buildings. Approval was also given for amendments to the Land Pooling Scheme rules and increasing housing unit costs for Polavaram project victims.
The Cabinet also approved ₹798 crore for civil works near the Assembly area and ₹580 crore for infrastructure development in the Undavalli zone. It cleared ₹1,180 crore for rerouting 220 KV cables and approved land allocation for an industrial hub in Prakasam district. The Cabinet also approved promotions for 385 constables of the Special Protection Force and sanctioned ₹124.5 crore for the construction of AP Bhavan in Delhi.
