Applications Open for New Pensions in AP From Today

Applications for new social security pensions in Andhra Pradesh will be accepted from today. Eligible applicants can submit their applications at village and ward secretariats until September 16. The verification process will be conducted from September 17 to 21, including scrutiny of applications and field-level verification.

Following the verification process, the state government will approve the pensions for eligible beneficiaries on September 25 and 26. At present, around 62 lakh people across Andhra Pradesh are receiving various social security pensions.
