AP Government Releases Notification for 2,050 Police Department Jobs

The Andhra Pradesh government has announced recruitment for 2,050 vacancies across several departments under the police recruitment process. The vacancies cover the police, fire, prisons and correctional services, police communications, police transport and forensic science departments. The notification includes posts for Sub-Inspectors, Constables, Firemen, Warders, Drivers, Mechanics and Scientific Assistants.

Among the vacancies, the recruitment includes 438 Sub-Inspector posts across Civil, Armed Reserve, Special Protection Force, Communications and Police Transport Organisation categories. There are also 1,156 Constable vacancies covering Civil, Armed Reserve, Fire and Prisons services. In addition, vacancies have been announced for Firemen, Warders, Communications Constables, PTO Drivers and Mechanics, as well as Scientific Assistants in the Forensic Science Laboratory. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the official AP SLPRB website. The date for the preliminary written examination will be announced separately.
