Yash Raj Films Plans a Romantic Comeback with Multiple Love Stories from 2027

Yash Raj Films, the production house that played a significant role in shaping Bollywood's romantic cinema, is reportedly preparing to return to the genre in a big way. Producer Aditya Chopra is said to be planning a series of romantic films from 2027. According to industry reports, directors Ali Abbas Zafar, Mohit Suri and Maneesh Sharma are developing different projects centred on love and relationships. Music is expected to be a major highlight, with the films aiming to connect with younger audiences through emotional storytelling and fresh narratives.

Among the projects reportedly in development is a gangster romance featuring Ahaan Panday and Sharvari. Another film is said to reunite Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda in a college-based love story directed by Mohit Suri. The production house is also reportedly planning a Punjab-set romantic drama starring Ambrish Verma and Sara Arjun. In addition, a love-triangle story featuring a large ensemble cast is being discussed, with reports suggesting that it could go on floors in the summer of 2027. While these projects are yet to receive official confirmation, Aditya Chopra's reported plans have generated interest among Bollywood movie lovers.
