The Andhra Pradesh government has granted administrative approval for an expenditure of Rs. 40.20 crore to the AP Digital Corporation Limited. The approved expenditure is intended to cover the government’s social and digital media campaigns as well as salaries and related expenses of personnel associated with these activities.
The approval also provides an exemption from the budget quarterly restrictions for the expenditure. The AP Digital Corporation has been allocated Rs. 84.59 crore in the 2026–27 budget, making the newly approved Rs. 40.20 crore approximately 47.5% of its total budget allocation. However, the exact amount earmarked separately for publicity activities and staff salaries will have to be confirmed from the detailed government order.
