The Indian rupee continues to decline, losing value once again against the US dollar. Due to persistent equity outflows and economic uncertainty surrounding the India-US trade agreement, the rupee fell by 22 paise on December 4.
After crossing the key ₹90 mark in the previous session, the rupee opened at ₹90.41 against the dollar on Thursday. Experts say that even the limited interventions by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) are unlikely to ease the pressure on the currency.
