The competition between Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel continues in India’s telecom sector, with both companies offering a range of prepaid recharge plans to attract customers. Among them are their respective ₹349 plans, both offering 28 days of validity, unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS messages per day. Eligible users can also access unlimited 5G data. However, the two plans differ in terms of daily data and additional benefits. Jio offers 2GB of data per day, while Airtel provides 1.5GB per day.
Jio’s ₹349 plan comes with a JioHotstar mobile subscription, 50GB of free JioAI Cloud storage and an 18-month Google Gemini AI Pro benefit. Airtel, meanwhile, offers a 12-month Adobe Express Premium subscription along with an Apple Music benefit. Airtel’s unlimited 5G data is subject to a fair-use limit of up to 300GB in every 30-day period. While both plans are similar in price, validity, calling and SMS benefits, Jio has an edge in terms of daily data and additional OTT and AI-related benefits, making it the more feature-rich option for many users.
