

The financial services sector is currently offering highly attractive salaries to skilled professionals. In particular, experienced and highly qualified experts such as Chief Financial Officers (CFOs) are being offered annual compensation packages of up to ₹8 crore by companies with a turnover exceeding ₹10,000 crore. In such organizations, the annual salaries of CFOs typically range from ₹1.75 crore to ₹8 crore.
Private Equity (PE) firms are also offering competitive pay packages to senior professionals with expertise in the financial services sector. These professionals are being offered annual salaries ranging from ₹60 lakh to ₹1.2 crore. Similarly, employees at the President and Vice President levels in these firms are earning annual compensation packages between ₹1.3 crore and ₹2 crore.
At the Director level, professionals earn an average annual salary ranging from ₹1.85 crore to ₹4.5 crore. Meanwhile, companies are offering Managing Director (MD) level executives annual compensation packages between ₹4 crore and ₹6 crore. These details were revealed in the “India Salary Guide 2026” report released by recruitment services firm Michael Page. The growth of Global Capability Centers (GCCs) in the country and the rising demand for AI-related skills are identified as the key factors driving these salary increases.
