

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu addressed the CII Partnership Summit 2026 business roadshow held in Singapore as part of the preparations for the upcoming summit scheduled in November. He highlighted the strong historical and economic ties between India and Singapore, particularly with Andhra Pradesh, recalling his long-standing association with Singapore and admiration for its leadership under Lee Kuan Yew. He also noted collaborative efforts since the united Andhra Pradesh era, including township development in Hyderabad.
The Chief Minister emphasized Singapore’s role in shaping Amaravati’s master plan after the state bifurcation and described it as a “blue and green capital” vision. He invited global investors to consider Andhra Pradesh as their preferred destination after Singapore, highlighting the state’s speed of doing business, fast approvals, and investor-friendly policies. He cited major investments including ArcelorMittal’s upcoming steel production, Google’s data centre projects powered by green energy, and LG Electronics’ ₹7,000 crore manufacturing unit at Sri City. He also announced plans for a skill university and data-driven governance to support industrial growth and citizen services.
