CtrlS Datacenters has raised a loan of ₹5,500 crore for its upcoming artificial intelligence-based data centre project in Hyderabad. The funding will support the development of digital infrastructure, with State Bank of India approving ₹4,000 crore and Central Bank of India sanctioning ₹1,500 crore. The banks will initially provide the funding under project finance and later convert it into a Lease Rental Discounting (LRD) structure.
CtrlS Datacenters founder and CEO Sridhar Pinnapureddy stated that the company is developing the AI-driven data centre facility in Hyderabad with a capacity of 3.5 gigawatts. The project is expected to strengthen India’s digital infrastructure and support the growing demand for AI and cloud-based services.
