Apple's new iPad mini Sleek design, new features

Tech giant Apple on Monday unveiled the next-generation iPad mini with advanced features. It has been redesigned to be slimmer and lighter than the previous models. Its main attractions include a large OLED display, a powerful A20 Pro chip, and advanced AI capabilities with iPad OS 27.

The new iPad Mini features an 8.5-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display. Reducing the edges (bezels) has increased the screen area without increasing the size of the device. It offers double the brightness and better contrast ratio than the previous model.In terms of design, it is just 5.4 mm. It is the thinnest mini tablet from Apple. It will be available in Midnight and Starlight colors. It has also been given an IP rating of 67 for protection from water and dust.

In terms of performance, the iPad mini uses the latest A20 Pro chip. It is made up of 2 nanometer technology. Apple said the CPU performance was 60 percent, graphics speed was 2.7 times faster, and AI processing was 4.5 times better. Notably, the 512GB model also features a dual 16-core neural engine. A new N1 wireless chip was used for connectivity. It supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.

Several upgrades have been made in terms of audio and cameras. The 'Acoustic Display System' was introduced to provide a clear sound experience by placing the speakers on the display itself. On the front, there is a 12MP center stage camera and a 12MP wide camera on the back that supports 4K video recording. In terms of software, Apple Intelligence and the new Siri AI features that come with iPad OS 27 are a special attraction.
