India Wins Another Gold at the Commonwealth Games

India continued its impressive medal winning run at the Commonwealth Games, adding another gold medal to its tally. In the Men's 100m T47 Para Athletics Final, Dilip Gavit clinched the gold medal with a brilliant performance, while Mohammed Basil secured the silver medal, giving India a memorable one two finish.

In athletics, Murali Sreeshankar won the silver medal in the men's long jump with a leap of 8.09 metres. After winning silver in the 2022 edition, Sreeshankar has now become the first Indian athlete to win two Commonwealth Games medals in the long jump event.
