

The India men's national badminton team has entered the quarterfinals of the Thomas Cup Finals with a commanding performance. In a Group A clash held in Horsens, India thrashed the Australia men's national badminton team 5-0 on Monday. In another match, the China men's national badminton team defeated the Canada men's national badminton team 4-1. Having already beaten Canada 4-1 earlier, India comfortably progressed to the knockout stage. India will now face China in their final group match on Wednesday to determine the Group A topper.
Leading the charge, Lakshya Sen secured a 21-14, 21-16 win to give India a strong start. Ayush Shetty followed with a dominant 21-8, 21-6 victory, while the doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty extended the lead to 3-0. H. S. Prannoy and the pair of Hariharan and Arjun completed a clean sweep, sealing a comprehensive win for India.
