Former Minister and BRS LP Deputy Leader Harish Rao, while speaking to the media at Telangana Bhavan before appearing for the SIT inquiry, strongly criticized Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. He stated that no matter how many notices are sent or how many inquiries are conducted, they are not afraid. He alleged that trivial politics are being played to divert public attention ahead of the elections. Harish Rao further mentioned that even if a notice is issued at 9 PM, he would come from Siddipet to appear, expressing full faith in the judicial system and asserting that they have committed no wrongdoing. He added that they would face the SIT inquiry with courage and answer every question responsibly.
Highlighting the phone tapping case, he reminded that the Supreme Court had already given a clear verdict. He warned that no political gimmicks could intimidate the BRS and that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s corruption scandals would continue to be exposed. He described the BRS cadre as disciplined under KCR’s leadership and asserted that no amount of conspiracies or cases could deter their fight for the people and the state. Harish Rao emphasized that they would continue to hold the government accountable until the six guarantees and 420 promises were fully implemented.
He accused the government of creating unnecessary drama during the municipal elections and questioned what had been achieved in these cases over the past two years. He criticized the government for wasting time with white papers, inquiries, and commissions under the guise of Kaleshwaram projects. Harish Rao stressed that the public’s priority was the implementation of promises like Rythu Bandhu, pensions, employment, fee reimbursements, and gold schemes. He warned that attempts to divert attention with cases without delivering on promises would fail. He further asserted that attempts to ethically undermine the BRS in the municipal elections would not succeed and that the party was unafraid of the Chief Minister’s cases. He concluded by stating that in the upcoming municipal elections, the people would give Revanth Reddy a decisive answer.
