The Congress-led Indy Bloc is gearing up for a massive protest at Delhi's Ramlila Maidan on November 1 against 'vote theft'. However, in view of festivals like Diwali and Dhanteras, the business community has expressed concern that their businesses will be affected due to the protest. Businesses are expected to be affected to the tune of Rs 25,000 crore. In this order, Indy wants the protest to be postponed.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi responded to the appeal on 'X'. "Tell PM Modi that the 4th accused in vote theft, CEC Gyanesh Kumar, should be removed from the post. The protests will stop in half a minute (30 seconds)," he said. "We have love for every businessman in Delhi. We will listen to you. The government has shut down the metro. The roads were blocked. Our capital has been locked down. Theft of votes is not safe for anyone. Put an axe on your shops, your savings, and even the future of your children. That's why. Ask Modi to remove Gyanesh from the post," he said.
