Telangana Rakshana Sena Announces Akash Kolluru as MLC Candidate

Telangana Rakshana Sena (TRS) chief Kalvakuntla Kavitha has announced senior journalist Akash Kolluru as the party's candidate for the Hyderabad-Rangareddy-Mahabubnagar Graduates' MLC constituency. This marks the party's first electoral contest since its formation in Telangana. Kavitha has already nominated BC candidate Nalamasa Srikanth Goud for the Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda Graduates' constituency and has now selected another BC candidate for the Hyderabad seat. Senior party leader Dr. Chitneni Raghu has been appointed as the observer and coordinator for the Hyderabad constituency, while prominent lawyer Ram Kalyan Challa will oversee election strategy and the war room for both constituencies.

The party has also announced constituency-wise in-charges to coordinate election activities. Surabhi, Mateen and Bandari Mahender Mudiraj will handle Hyderabad, while Archana Senapati has been assigned Rangareddy and Ranjith Gongalla Mahabubnagar. For the second constituency, Sujith has been appointed for Nalgonda, Gattu Karuna for Khammam and Madugula Rajireddy for Warangal. Akash Kolluru, a Hyderabad resident, has over a decade of experience in national media and has worked with prominent organisations such as India Today, Republic TV, CNN-News18 and Dailyhunt. He completed his schooling at The Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet, and graduated from Osmania University with a gold medal.
