

The Budget Session of the Telangana Legislative Assembly will continue until the 30th of this month, as decided in the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meeting chaired by the Assembly Speaker. According to the schedule, discussions on the Governor’s address will take place on the 17th and 18th. The state budget will be presented on the 20th, followed by a holiday on the 21st on the occasion of Ramzan.
Further discussions on the budget demands will be held from the 23rd to the 26th, while the Appropriation Bill is scheduled to be taken up on the 30th. The BAC meeting was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, Minister D. Sridhar Babu, and Government Whip Beerla Ilaiah representing the government. Leaders from opposition and other parties including T. Harish Rao, K. P. Vivekanand, Maheshwar Reddy, Kausar Mohiuddin, and Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao were also present to discuss the agenda and working days of the session.
