Minister Gummidi Sandhya Rani strongly questioned Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy over his recent remarks, asking whether people above 40 are considered “aged” in his view and if that implies half the state’s population has crossed their lifespan. She condemned his visit to former minister Seediri Appalaraju under the guise of a courtesy call and criticized the statements he made there. She alleged that Jagan has a tendency to console the accused while ignoring the victims.
Speaking to the media in Mangalagiri on Monday, she also launched sharp attacks on senior leaders. She accused former Speaker Tammineni Sitaram of manipulating records to declare a living person dead and transfer land in his son’s name. She further alleged that Seediri Appalaraju tried to shield his son in an accident case by implicating an innocent person, calling Jagan’s support for such individuals a reflection of his alleged criminal mindset.
