IDBI Bank employees are staging a nationwide strike on November 2 and 3 in protest against the proposed privatisation of the bank. The strike is expected to affect regular banking operations at branches, particularly on Tuesday. Customers planning to visit IDBI Bank branches may experience delays or disruptions in services during the protest.
To minimise inconvenience, the bank has highlighted alternative facilities available to customers. According to the advisory, account holders can withdraw cash free of charge from ATMs operated by other banks. Digital banking services, including the Go Mobile Plus app, internet banking and UPI transactions, are expected to remain operational without interruption. Customers are advised to use these digital facilities for routine transactions and check with their nearest branch for updates on branch services.
