Chief Minister Revanth Reddy stated that all matters related to Singareni will be discussed in detail in the Assembly. He urged Union Coal Minister Kishan Reddy to present the facts and clarified that the tender guidelines were not framed by Singareni but were adopted in 2018. Questioning why former Chief Minister KCR is not being asked about the issue, Revanth Reddy alleged that only pending dues were left behind during the previous ten years of governance. He asserted that he has not imposed even a single rupee burden on Singareni. Referring to KCR, KTR, Harish Rao, and Kavitha as one group, he remarked that he does not compare himself with anyone and has no competition in the state. He made these comments during an informal interaction with the media in New Delhi.
The Chief Minister also expressed his support for conferring the Bharat Ratna award on NTR and announced plans to install an NTR statue in Hyderabad soon. He stated that the investigation into the phone tapping issue is ongoing and that a committee has been assigned to assess the losses related to the Kaleshwaram project. Further decisions will be taken after the committee submits its report, he added.
