The allocation of Rajya Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh has sparked discontent within the Telugu Desam Party (TDP). Senior TDP leader from Kadapa district, Reddeppagari Srinivasa Reddy, who was reportedly expecting a Rajya Sabha nomination, publicly expressed his disappointment after not being selected. In a social media post, he stated that despite dedicating 13 years of service to the party, the assurances given to him had not been fulfilled, leaving him deeply disappointed.
The issue has generated political discussion within party circles, with leaders and supporters closely watching developments. Adding to the debate, Srinivasa Reddy later posted another message reportedly targeting Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan over pending bills. The sequence of posts has intensified speculation about internal dissatisfaction and the political implications of the Rajya Sabha seat allocation process.
