Criticism has surfaced over Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s foreign visit while protests are being held in Delhi demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar. Union Home Minister Amit Shah referred to the issue and took a swipe at Rahul, predicting that the Congress party would remain out of power for another 30 years.
“ I know you cannot hear me because you are abroad. You do not explain why you travel overseas. Fine, that is your personal matter. But once you return to Delhi, listen to what I have to say. You will not come to power for another 30 years,” Amit Shah remarked. His comments targeting Rahul Gandhi over the foreign visit have triggered political discussion.
