Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy faced strict police restrictions during his visit to Srikakulam. Authorities permitted only a jail meeting with Appalaraju and denied permission for rallies, public meetings, and gatherings. Officials also stated that only eight vehicles were allowed in Jagan’s convoy.
Police warned that legal action would be taken if the rules were violated. Heavy security was deployed at Ampolu Jail and across Srikakulam town. Meanwhile, a large number of supporters gathered at Visakhapatnam Airport to welcome Jagan ahead of his arrival.
