No Apology: Rahul Gandhi Fires at Amit Shah

Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, has firmly stood by his remarks accusing Union Home Minister Amit Shah of ordering action against protesting students. Speaking to the media, Rahul Gandhi stated that he has no intention of apologising for his comments made in Parliament. He argued that the police and paramilitary forces operate under the Union Home Ministry, making the Home Minister accountable for any action taken against students.

Rahul Gandhi further remarked that if Amit Shah did not issue such orders, it raises serious concerns about his awareness of activities within his own ministry. He demanded that Amit Shah apologise to the students who were allegedly attacked while peacefully protesting against issues like paper leaks, irregularities in the education system, and privatisation. He emphasised that the opposition will continue to fight for the rights of students and youth without fear of government pressure.
