Iran Rejects U.S. War Cost Claims, Says Losses Far Higher

The United States recently stated that its ongoing conflict with Iran has cost approximately $25 billion (around ₹2.30 lakh crore). However, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi strongly rejected these figures, claiming that the actual financial burden on the U.S. is significantly higher than reported.

Araghchi alleged that the Pentagon is downplaying the true cost of the war and asserted that the losses have already exceeded $100 billion (around ₹9 lakh crore). He further criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, stating that his policies have led to massive financial strain on the U.S. economy. He added that American taxpayers are indirectly bearing the burden, saying, “Israel First ultimately means America Last.”
