Ramayana Falls Short of Adipurush’s Opening-Day Box Office Record

Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana Part 1 has registered a strong opening at the box office. Released amid considerable expectations, the film collected Rs. 64.85 crore in net collections on its first day. The opening has attracted attention, with the film’s initial box office performance drawing a positive response from its team.

However, Ramayana could not surpass the opening-day record set by Prabhas’ Adipurush. The latter reportedly collected Rs. 86.75 crore net on its first day in theatres. With this, Adipurush continues to hold the higher opening-day figure between the two films. It remains to be seen how Ramayana performs at the box office in the coming days.
