Leaders of the opposition INDIA alliance are set to convene for a crucial meeting in New Delhi on Monday, with a focus on strengthening coordination and formulating future political strategies against the BJP-led NDA. The meeting assumes significance in the wake of recent Assembly election outcomes and evolving political dynamics across several states. The gathering will be held at the Constitutional Club in the national capital and is expected to bring together prominent opposition leaders from across the country.
Among those likely to attend are Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Mamata Banerjee, Abhishek Banerjee, Akhilesh Yadav, Tejashwi Yadav and Uddhav Thackeray. Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said representatives from 23 parties are expected to participate. However, reports suggest that some alliance partners, including DMK and AAP, may not attend. The meeting is expected to focus on opposition unity, coordination among constituent parties, and strategies for upcoming political challenges.
