Government Should Take an All-Party Delegation to Delhi for River Water Issues: BRS Chief and Former CM KCR

BRS chief and former Chief Minister KCR accused both the central and state governments of cheating the people of Telangana over the Palamuru–RangaReddy project. Speaking to the media at Telangana Bhavan on Sunday(today December 21), he said that Palamuru district, which suffered neglect during the united state period, was developed and made prosperous during ten years of BRS rule. He alleged that the BJP at the Centre and the Congress government in the state are now together troubling the people of Palamuru again.

KCR called on party members to prepare for statewide protests on this issue. He also announced that KTR and Harish Rao will soon visit Delhi to fight legally against the Centre’s actions and water injustice. Earlier, during the BRS legislature party meeting, KCR congratulated party workers who worked hard for the party’s success in local body elections. He said the results clearly showed public anger against the ruling party and added that the people had given a fitting reply to overconfident Congress MLAs.
