Former YSRCP MLA Joins Jana Sena Party

Former Prathipadu MLA and senior YSRCP leader Varupula Subbarao has joined the Jana Sena Party. He joined the party in Pithapuram on Monday in the presence of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan. Pawan Kalyan welcomed Subbarao into the party by draping him with the Jana Sena scarf. Several former YSRCP councillors and leaders from the Peddapuram and Samalkota areas also joined Jana Sena.

Among those who joined were former Peddapuram municipal vice-chairman Nekkanti Sai Prasad, former Samalkota municipal chairperson Gangireddy Aruna, several former municipal councillors, and YSRCP leaders from the Prathipadu, Peddapuram and Jaggampeta constituencies. The joining programme was held under the leadership of Kakinada MP Tangella Uday Srinivas, Kakinada Rural MLA Pantam Nanaji and DCCB chairman Tummala Ramaswamy. Pawan Kalyan urged the new entrants to work towards strengthening the party at the grassroots level.
