Court Gives Green Signal for CM Revanth’s Foreign Tour

The ACB Special Court has granted conditional permission to Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to undertake a foreign tour, despite being an accused in the cash-for-vote case. The court allowed him to travel to the UK, USA, Germany, and China from August 17 to September 10 and ordered the temporary release of his passport, which is currently in court custody. His counsel informed the court that the visit is aimed at attracting investments to the state.

However, the court imposed several conditions. It directed him to submit a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh along with one surety. He must provide complete travel details, including stay addresses and contact numbers abroad. The court also instructed him to file an affidavit assuring that the passports will be returned by September 18. Upon submission of the affidavit, the court ordered that a letter be issued to the regional passport authority for temporary release.
