Recent attacks targeted two major facilities in Iran, including the heavy water reactor in Arak. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) confirmed that the production center was severely damaged and operations have stopped. However, there is no official confirmation of nuclear material presence. Iran confirmed the attacks on March 27, stating there were no casualties or radiation threats.
The Israeli military claimed responsibility for the attacks. Meanwhile, the Tabriz Petrochemical Plant in northern Iran, producing oil, gas, and plastic products, was also hit and suffered significant damage. IRGC officials warned of severe retaliation against continuous attacks: “The U.S. threatens us from thousands of kilometers away. If the threats continue, their commanders and soldiers will become food for sharks in the Persian Gulf,” the spokesperson said.
