Amit Shah Highlights PM Modi’s 25 Years of Public Service

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years in public life while speaking at an event in Vadnagar, Gujarat, on Modi’s 76th birthday. Shah said that Modi had continuously served as a state and national leader for 25 years and claimed that he worked 16 to 18 hours a day without taking a day off. Shah also offered prayers for Modi’s long life at Hatkeshwar Mahadev Temple.

Shah also flagged off the Vadnagar-to-Varanasi bike yatra as part of the month-long Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, an initiative marking Modi’s birthday and 25 years of public service. Reports said the rally involved 600 bikers and was intended to carry the message of public service across several states and villages. In his address, Shah cited government welfare measures and claimed that 25 crore people had been lifted out of poverty, while highlighting provisions including housing, electricity, tap water, toilets, cooking gas, free food grains and medical coverage.
